The woman did not built the monument \u2013 She embroidered monogram.<\/p>\n

MONUMENT ETERNITY MANGLE and ETERNITY SOILING is part of an art project based on a survey, with the linen as material and women\u2019s repeated actions in focus. By collecting towels in different materials, some with embroidered monograms, the artist Christina G\u00f6thesson wants to create a time document. This is an ongoing project that will grow and build on, into a document of time and action. The artist wants to create a piece of work that tells about the repetition of the more or less necessary actions that continue in the home\u2019s constant processes and rarely expose themselves to the public. Repetitions of actions such as washing, repairing, mangling, and then soiling and washing again. Even though these are actions that do not seem to lead to something lasting, this is what constitutes the environment of time, life and security \u2013 A home.<\/p>\n

Verken Monument Evighetsmangel<\/em> och Evighetsbyk<\/em> \u00e4r en del av ett l\u00e4ngre projekt som har sin utg\u00e5ngspunkt i en unders\u00f6kning med linet som material och kvinnors upprepade handlingar i focus. Projektet har bl.a. visats under Konstliv Halland, p\u00e5 Hallands konstmuseum \u2013 Hallandsg\u00e5rden, i Vimmerby och Stockholm.\u00a0 2017\/2018 tog projektet ny form och visades som ett grafiskt tryck i ett bokrulle-monument p\u00e5 bl.a. neo: gallery Bolton\/Manchester UK.<\/p>\n

I projektet blir bes\u00f6karen v\u00e4lkomnad att sk\u00e4nka en handduk, g\u00e4rna med monogram och en ber\u00e4ttelse och\/eller medverka i nedsmutsningen av den interaktiva installationen Evighetsbyk. <\/em>P\u00e5 s\u00e5 vis blir en delaktig i utformandet av Monument Evighetsmangel<\/em>, som \u00e4r t\u00e4nkt att bli ett fysiskt monument, och ett arkiv. Genom att samla in handdukar i olika material, n\u00e5gra med broderade monogram vill jag skapa ett tidsdokument som kommer att v\u00e4xa och byggas p\u00e5, till ett dokument av tid och handling.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
